Hope Now - Lives You've Changed

As we look back on another year at Portland Rescue Mission, meet just a few of the men and women you've given hope to.

Hope Now (Quicktime Version)

Hope Now - Portland Rescue Mission from pdxmission on Vimeo.

God's blessing has filled each day as we served hundreds of hurting men, women and children here in Portland. We're grateful for public support that allows us to touch each of these lives.

Friends like you have helped us serve more than 232,000 meals to hungry people this year (about 14% more for homeless guests than 2009). We provided over 60,000 shelter-nights, with an increase of about 20 beds per night for homeless men plus thousands of showers, and countless personal hygiene items and clean, fresh clothing. And an encouraging word.

Because we don't receive government funding, private giving from friends like you fuels this ministry. So as we look forward to the new year, we recognize that our donations during the close of 2010 largely dictate the amount of services we can offer in the coming year.

Would consider a gracious gift to help us finish the year strong?
